Study Peace Studies and International Development at Bradford

We have introduced two brand new and innovative undergraduate courses that will start in September 2019, as well as a suite of postgraduate programmes that started in September 2018.

We also have a range of scholarships and bursaries available to support you during your study with us. Our new courses:

  • Reflect the most recent research and policy debates in the inter-connected disciplines of Peace Studies, Development Studies and International Relations.
  • Adopt innovative approaches to teaching, combining formal lectures and seminars, with themed immersion days, study trips, a simulated crisis exercise and the opportunity (supported by Facebook) to devise a campaign to combat Fake News.
  • Are taught by academics who are not only experts in their field but who have hands-on experience of advising governments, international organisations and NGOs. Indeed, our academics provide training to organisations such as the MOD and the African Development Bank. We are also home to the Rotary Peace Centre one of just six Rotary Peace Centres around the world supported by Rotary International.
