'Explore the Future' Family STEM day

Published: Mon 17 Mar 2014

This exciting day was part of the British Science Association’s National Science and Engineering Week, showcasing activities, experiments and exhibitions. The event took place on Saturday 15th March 2014 and ran between 11am and 3pm.

There was a steady stream of visitors to the atrium and the Psychology stand. A selection of mazes and a supply of coloured felt tip pens were very popular with the preschool aged children. School aged children (and their parents!) seemed most entertained by the visual illusions and the tower of Hanoi game. Some grownups found "Einstein's riddle" intriguing!
