Biography

Dr Obaidullah Amin is a lecturer in Marketing and consumer behaviour at School of management, University of Bradford. He received his PhD in Marketing from University of Bradford. Prior to the PhD, he has also worked as a lecturer at NUML (Islamabad, Pakistan). Currently, he is the module leader for Marketing Planning and Strategy and supervisor for masters Dissertations at the School of Management.

Previously, Obaid did his masters in Management and Marketing from the University of Sheffield with a top performer Award. He has also attended trainings on Business negotiations and International marketing from ESADE business School, Barcelona. His research Interests are related to sustainable buying behaviours, theoretical innovations in consumer cognitive models and articulation of responsible consumption in hospitality and retail sector.

Research

Obaid, primarily attempts to investigate sustainable consumer behaviours through various psychological and sociological lenses. His research expertise are grounded by Quantitative multivariate data analysis and intends to blend experimental and quantitative research for future projects. He is currently working on projects related to sustainable food consumption and pro-environmental behaviours considering psychological prespectives in a multi-country context.
