Biography
Dr Smit Luyt hailsfrom South Africa where she has been teaching both undergraduate andpostgraduate modules on Sustainable Development and Green Economy atStellenbosch University. She has also worked as a senior research manager, policyadvisor and project co-ordinator on a number of projects across Africa. She holdsa Doctorate in Public Management and Development Planning, a Master's and PostGraduate Diploma in Sustainable Development, a Bachelor’s Degree in BusinessManagement and Administration and a National Diploma in Public Relations Management.Her interests andexpertise relate to sustainable development, systems thinking, renewable energy,resource use, green/circular economy, gendered aspects of growth anddevelopment, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable and ‘just’ cities.Learner Support Office Hours
