Who can attend the trans:it summer school?
Only students who have accepted a place to study at the University of Bradford (starting in September) can attend. We run two events, one specifically for mature students and one for other new starters. Students who are eligible to attend the summer school will be sent an invite and information on how to book.
Are places limited?
Places at each event may be limited so once you have received an invite please book as directed as soon as you can.
What time does the summer school start and finish?
Both summer schools will start at 09.00 and finish at 15.00 each day. Students will receive a programme for the event at registration.
Can I just attend for one day?
We advise that students attend both days in order to get the full benefit of the event. However, we do understand that there may be difficulties committing to both days so please get in touch to discuss.
Can I come later or leave earlier?

Do I need to bring anything with me to the summer school?
No. Students who have had their place at the event confirmed will receive details about the event and what to do on the first day etc.
How do I get to the event?

Is there on campus parking for the event?
Parking is likely to be limited. Once you have your student ID number you may be able to apply for a parking permit. Please click here for further information and details regarding visitor parking.
Can I enrol onto my course during the summer school?
No. Students should enrol on their programme of study during the allocated time/s in welcome week once the course starts.
Will I receive my course timetable?
No. All details relating specifically to the programme of study will be communicated separately, please click here for information
