Summer Experience at Bradford is a summer placement programme for University of Bradford students and local and regional businesses and organisations.
This mutually beneficial programme enables organisations to secure a first or second year student to work on a live project for six weeks during the summer vacation period.
Projects the students work on cover diverse areas such as business analysis, marketing plans, market research, multimedia, graphic design, computer programming, engineering, youth work and more.
We ask for companies to submit details of their projects and these are then advertised to our students via our Jobs Online vacancy database. Students are then invited to apply for any projects they are interested in and the host organisation interviews and selects the most suitable candidate.
Students are paid £290 per week (for a 35-hour working week) and the University is able to offer some funding for organisations dependant on relevant criteria
How to get involved:
- If you are an organisation interested in hosting a student see our information for employers page.
- If you are a student interested in taking part have a look at our information for students page to find out more, and browse our current vacancies.
