Grange crop

We have created a high quality outreach provision in Bradford schools, the proof of the pudding being that we've had our work highlighted as an exemplar by the Schools Linking Network .  Here is a blog written by Artistic Director, Iain Bloomfield, outlining the working methods on the 'In My Life' project which highlights well the model we follow and the partnerships we forge to allow young people to give voice to their life experience and make great theatre at the same time.

We have also worked over many years now with the award winning Widening Participation unit at the University of Bradford working with hard to reach young people from some of Britain's poorest electoral wards in Bradford.  We have held annual summer school activities with carefully targeted young people from across the region that allows them a concentrated experience of making theatre with a wide range of great artists.

We have also over the years run projects with The Schools Exclusion Unit at Bradford College and run one-off and show specific workshops for school groups that open up the process of making work for young people.

We are very keen to expand this work and are actively looking for partners to take this work to a whole new level. Watch this space!
