It includes self-access online resources and activities as well as a live programme of workshops that also offer you the chance to meet members of staff and other students.

Step Up to HE is free of charge and is available before the September term starts so that you can access information and resources before course teaching begins.

Developed and delivered by a team of staff and students, it covers a range of areas to support your transition into university.

These include:

  • Thriving in your first year
  • Academic language
  • Collaborative learning

  • IT skills
  • Careers and Employability

  • A Student Perspective

There will also be an opportunity for you to hear all about being a student at the University of Bradford from current students.

The online Step Up to HE resources are updated in August each year and can be accessed and worked through at a time and pace that suits you.

The live programme of workshops takes place on campus just before the term starts in September.

All new students, including those starting in January, can still access the online resources above at any time.
