My placement at L’Oréal was for an exclusive hair brand within the Professional Products Division.
My role as a marketing intern involved general administration duties, management of all digital social media platforms and responsibility for updating the website. I was involved in different parts of the business by developing marketing, sales and education materials for the wider team and was able to develop several skills during my placement year.
My placement was a challenging but very fulfilling experience. Stepping into a new field and being trusted with so much responsibility from day one pushed me to try my hardest. I enjoyed the fast world of marketing, and the skills will help me to explore broader options of work once I graduate.
