Bradford business school ranked in university guide top 20

Published:

Bradford University School of Management has been named as one of the best in the country for teaching marketing skills in the Complete University Guides rankings for 2015.

Ranked 14th for marketing out of all UK universities, the school also improved its rankings in all four listed subjects in the league, also including Business & Management, Accounting & Finance and Law.

By using a wealth of data from the Higher Education Statistics Agency, the Complete Universities Guide creates an annual league table of the UK’s top performing universities.

The prestigious rankings also revealed that students hold teaching at the school in high regard, with student satisfaction ranked 4.06 out of a maximum of five.

Jon Reast, Dean at Bradford University School of Management said: “The heart of business success lies in marketing. Without marketing, you cannot reach your customers or communicate what you have to offer to your team and the rest of the world.

“Marketing is a core function for every business, so to be ranked among the best in the country at teaching this critical skill is very satisfying and a reflection of the quality of the education you can expect to receive from Bradford.

“As we celebrate our 50th anniversary year, we are continuing to work hard to raise our standards and improve our offer to businesses and, most importantly, want to ensure our students get as much out of their time here as possible.

“We are delighted to see rankings improve across the board and also to see that our students are hugely satisfied with their experience of Bradford.

“I’m proud to say we have always been at the leading edge of business education and research and we are determined to remain a world leading institution.”

Bradford University School of Management is one of only 59 business schools in the world to be awarded the elite ‘Triple Crown’ with kitemark accreditations from AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) and AMBA (the Association of MBAs).
